At Cape Window Blinds, we provide cost-effective repair and maintenance services to add some extra longevity to blinds where possible.
Especially blinds under regular use in commercial business environments and high traffic environments where blinds need to be in their best form at all times.

Our highly experienced mobile servicing team provide onsite repair services and on-going maintenance requirements where needed, covering the Cape Town area.
We service and repair all types of blinds and various window coverings in and around Cape Town. All costed services are mandatory to a once off service call-out charge (as in bold blue above), and separately, the cost of individual services, (inclusive of components, consumables, time, and labour).
Whether purchased from us or from any other window covering supplier, we are able to restring, re-cord, replace slats, tilters and cordlocks etc, on almost any blind, (so long as such components are available and/or replacement slat colours are still available).

General services:

• re-stringing service to replace cords of same or similar colour match, also re-cording ladder cord or ladder tape and/or replacement of control cords for lift and tilt;
• supply and mounting of aluminium standard or colour coated channels and flat plates and angles to assist in room darkening or privacy where not achieved with your existing blinds (where possible);
• supply of extra spare brackets, toggles, valances, pelmets, bottom chains and spares (Minimum purchase R180.00);
• replacement of aged and/or damaged valances / pelmets for wooden, pvc and aluminiun venetian blinds (colour and finish depending availability);
• repairs of headrail systems for wooden and aluminium and pvc venetian blinds, also roman blinds etc;
• re-stringing of all types of venetian blinds and re-cording of roman blinds and bamboo blinds;
• replacement of aged or damaged vertical fabric vanes and wooden and aluminium venetian slats;
• to provide window covering removal services and remounting after property alteration work or to relocate window coverings from one property to another;
• the alteration of blind sizing in width or length (depending size requirement) and cutting down blinds for accommodating tiling and skirting boards;
• to provide on-going maintenance service for corporate window coverings for on-going servicing and repairs of office blinds, corporate buildings and school classrooms and facilities;
• maintenance, repairs and replacement of curtaining tracks, rods and rails and window blinds and curtaining for Hotels, Guest houses and holiday homes and apartments.​

Take a clear initial photo of the blind or blinds needing repair and if possible thereafter, a few close-up photos of the damaged component or issue.

2.
Note the approximate width and height of the blind/s, especially in the case of a window coverings needing a replacement of cord (restring).

Forward your photos with info (where applicable as in step 2), your Name, Surname and address or suburb where you reside, and any other helpful information i.e. blind was originally bought from us and approximately when etc.
